Vancouver
Vancouver is named after Captain George Vancouver, a British explorer. The name
Vancouver itself originates from the Dutch "van Coevorden", denoting somebody from
(in Dutch: "van") Coevorden, an old city in The Netherlands and the Canadian city
ranks as one of the most livable cities in the world.
It is the first destination for international events and conferences, but also for

the Vancouver International Jazz Festival or The Vancouver International Film Festival,
which runs for two weeks each September; the perfect month for your permanent hair
