Tallahassee The name "Tallahassee" is a Muskogean Indian word often translated as "old fields". This likely stems from the Creek (later called Seminole) Indians. Nowadays, the city is the capital of the State of Florida and the county seat of Leon County, rich in history, but also a modern place, with all facilities, including laser hair removal clinics, where the best specialists will help you remove extra hair from back, arms, face or legs. Of course, in the summer time it’s not recommended to do such a procedure because too much sun can hurt your sensitive skin, but Tallahassee also mild, short winters, perfect for such a treatment. This mild, colder period of winter is known to be full of festivals and public events, first of all the Winter Festival. It is mainly a celebration of lights, music and the arts, held for over a three week period from mid-November to early December. All the trees in the city are lit with numerous lights to celebrate the upcoming Christmas, even though in Florida there is no snow. Also, approximately the same time, don’t miss the Tallahassee Wine and Food Festival, held annually for two days, in November. Events to go to with your family or keep them busy while you attend your permanent hair removal sessions to loose the unwanted legs, arms or bikini area in preparation for the hot season. Men are also likely to be interested in the Red Hills Horse Trials, one of the equestrian world's top events. In spring, Tallahassee held another annual event, in March, to celebrate the history and culture of the city. Outside these festivals, there are always parks to take walks, like Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park, Goodwood Museum and Gardens or Wakulla Springs State Park. Men should also remember that an esthetical treatment like the laser hair removal isn’t only for women, they too can remove extra hair from back or chest. Inside the city, you can also go to Railroad Square, as mall district of Tallahassee, located off Railroad Avenue (just south of the Amtrak station), filled with a variety of metal art sculptures and stores selling artwork and collectibles. Railroad Square is mainly known for its small locally owned shops and working artist studios, and its alternative art scene. |
