I have been treated by Dr. Vasily for acne scars. I am 44 yrs old and still get acne, not any longer thanks to Dr. Vasily. I started laser surgery for acne scarring but it not only significantly decreased my scarring it has prevented any future breakouts! I get maybe 2-3 breakouts a year! It is awesome to not have to cake on foundation to hide my embarrassing zits and scars. His staff is incredible! Friendly, respectful of your privacy. Alicia is the best technician ever. I highly recommend Dr. Vasily and his staff for professional wonderful service

Laser Hair Removal |

Since that time the technology used has dramatically improved and patients, including those with dark skin, are seeing very good and lasting results. Generally laser hair removal is 80% to 90% effective, meaning 90% of hair in the area will likely remain gone. Follow up maintenance treatments may be needed at 6 months to a year following the initial series of treatment to maintain hair removal.

Lasers work by targeting the melanin pigment in your hair follicle and if your skin is more tan than normal, this can have an effect on the laser’s ability to properly target the hair. As the hair follicle absorbs the laser light, this will trigger the hair’s natural resting, or telogen, phase.
