Went to a well advertised "med-spa" which showed photo of physican/owner in the ad. In reality, physican was never there and both procedures were performed by a LPN who was uncertified and had only received training on the Fotona YAG laser by the phycian's wife (a non-medical person).
Was not provided with pre-op instructions by this clinic.
First treatment, skin was cleaned and laser applied. I had no problems. Second treatment, technician forgot to cleanse skin and applied the laser while I had on make up (with embedded SPF 15 in it). Results are long term marks from the treatment which I had done over a year ago.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this to evaluate the clinic and ensure that the procedure is being done by a physician. Also, do a lot of your own research before having laser hair removal done. This site is one of the best I have seen. Wish I had seen it before I had my experience.

I loved my experience with this firm and Arm Hair Removal. I would rate them top notch! I moved midway through my treatment though to Utah and had to use another group to finish. They were also wonderful. I loved them both and would recommend them to anyone.

I had my Bikini, underarm, and upper leg hair done. Each time I go in, I tend to add a new area because it is so much more convenient than thinking about shaving. Plus the skin is so soft now and I feel so much better.
I plan to go through the remaining treatments and am so happy I made this decision, wish I would have done it 10 years ago.
Pain is very mild with the laser. Waxing is so much more painful, time consuming, and messy.
I have been through 3 treatments in the bikini/underarm area and results are great, definitely need a few more but by next summer I won't need to worry about hair growth.

I did my 1st of 6 treatments for the under arms; I see a lot less hair growth and the pain was tolerable.
I tried the legs and it was extremely painful, NEVER AGAIN! Maybe this method hurts more.

Going for third in few hours. Already 70 percent of improvement after years of tweezing and elect. I never felt anything. Was more aware of flashing light. The hardest part for me is that I can not tweeze but have to shave in-between appointments. Kind of a masculine feeling even though I shave my legs. I believe the excessive facial hair is from VERY high doses of steroids over the years for medical conditions! Looking forward to a smooth face......even at 68! Probably will have a couple more appointments. Best gift I have given myself!
