Went to a well advertised "med-spa" which showed photo of physican/owner in the ad. In reality, physican was never there and both procedures were performed by a LPN who was uncertified and had only received training on the Fotona YAG laser by the phycian's wife (a non-medical person).
Was not provided with pre-op instructions by this clinic.
First treatment, skin was cleaned and laser applied. I had no problems. Second treatment, technician forgot to cleanse skin and applied the laser while I had on make up (with embedded SPF 15 in it). Results are long term marks from the treatment which I had done over a year ago.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this to evaluate the clinic and ensure that the procedure is being done by a physician. Also, do a lot of your own research before having laser hair removal done. This site is one of the best I have seen. Wish I had seen it before I had my experience.

My hair is much finer now, and even though it is still growing in, there is a lot less than I started with. I am hoping that I only need about 2 more sessions, but as long as it goes away I dont care what it takes.

I had a ton of hair on my back that I HATED. It was super emberassing whenever i would take my shirt off, and living in the heat for most of the year, that is a lot. I finally went in and got laser hair removal done after going back and forth for years. I did a lot of research and found a doctor's office where the actual doctor performs the treatments. I figured, if i am going to pay this much, I better get not leave room for any mistakes. So far, I have had a good experience. Just do your homework and you will too.

I have really thick hair and would always get ingrown hairs and really bad redness when I would shave. I would wax instead but that was soooo painful and cost me a lot because my hair would grow really fast. I finally saved up enough and got laser done. It took 6 sessions and at first I didn't think that it was working but then all of a sudden after my 4th session, the hair just stopped growing. It has been about 5 months since my last session, and I still get a little bit of hair growth, but I only have to shave about 1 time a week and the hair is so fine that it doesnt bother me. It was totally worth it.

I actually paid $1200 USD for 6 sessions but for my full body!!!This is one decision I will never regret making because after seeing the result I was extremely satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone out there that is debating in making a decision...Think...Think about all the products and creams that you purchased throughout the years, and will probably still buy...You do the math and you will see that the laser hair removal is not that expensive since you won’t ever have to purchase these items again...
It is too good to be true!!!
But it is real and you don’t have to worry about shaving, waxing and God knows what other methods people still try to temporally get rid of hair...
Try it and you won’t regret it!
