I had 3 sessions of hair removal on my face and the hair is definitely thinning. Just know that you have to stick with it to kill all of the hair, you can't just go once and expect it to never come back. Suggestion- make use of the numbing cream and do a lot of research before you pick someone to do the procedure. Not all practitioners are the same.

Let me first start by saying that I am a Latina woman with dark hair/complexion. I bought a "groupon" type deal for 6 laser hair removal treatments for $99. I chose to have my underarms done. After 3 treatments, I have very very few hairs on my underarms. The process was painful for me, so the technician will apply ice packs on my skin for a minute before starting; this really helps make it tolerable. I have also purchased another "deal" for 6 sessions for $99 and have had my bikini line done. This procedure was not painful at all for me. I have had 5 of the 6 sessions and I love the results!! Last week I bought a "deal" for unlimited laser hair removal for 1 year on 3 different areas for the price of $259. I plan on having my lower legs and my upper lip done. I would definitely recommend this procedure to anyone. Just make sure to read reviews and to check out the facility beforehand.

I have some thick hair on my shoulders and going down my back and I always wanted to do something about it. My friend told me about laser hair removal after he had it done on his chest and I definitely wanted to give it a try. After just three sessions, most of my hairs were gone and my skin was smooth, with no long term redness or bruises from the laser. The treatment was pretty painful the first time because I didn't have any numbing cream, but the second time, I had the cream put on ahead of time and it was much more tolerable. I really am very happy with the results and I’ll need to return for at least two more session, before completing the treatment.

I am a female swimmer, so I am in a bathing suit every day. That said, I used to have to shave every day or every other day so that any hair that grew was not noticeable. I used to get horrible bumps that were super painful, not to mention unsightly. I finally saved the money and bought a package of treatments from a medspa. Now, a year later, some hair still grows in, but it is much thinner and lighter, and I only shave once every couple of weeks. It was completely worth it to me.

I hated shaving every day, it took such a long time and caused me to have ingrown hairs all of the time. I finally said enough is enough and lokeed into laser hair removal. After doing a bunch of research, I decided on a board certified doctor and went for it. The total time that it took was about 7 months, and after my 5th session, my hair has hardly grown back at all. I have to shave once every 2 weeks if that, to get random stray hairs, but it is nothing compared to the hassle of shaving every day. I am really happy that I finally went in to have it done.
